I've been listening a lot to Melody Gardot's album " My one and only Thrill"( Here ).
Maybe it's my age but her voice has a breathy quality which make my hair stand on end, though at my age I guess I'm doing well to have any hair. She has a jazzy style, but mixes it with some latin sounds which is all very soothing.
We all have such busy lives, and balancing all the competing demands on your time you need some escape and peace. If the cacophony of media and modern living makes me sometimes want to curl up in a corner, take Melody with you.
