Bob Dylan I'll be your baby tonight

my dad was a shrewd man who, nevertheless, had a sentimenal streak as wide as the pacific ocean
he had came out of the war with a deep admiration for the "few"
but i dont think he was anti fascist in any deep political sense
in fact he expressed an admiration for the german fighting machine
not surprising as he had been with the BEF in France in 1940
and by the way why didn't the germans invade england then? dont answer that.
mom hated adolf hitler with a fierce passion
he had bombed her and my older sisters as they hid under the stairs
i was hiding then in dads imagination...........
and
bob was a twinkle in a hibbing night sky
thank god dad got back from france
