i was surprised that this painting didn't sell. i did of course realise that the mike was..... er suggestive? but that wasn't my initial intention, all i wanted was to create some thin watery effects in an area that was surrounded by thick black paint. however when i realised it was open to other readings i thought well why not. hon y soit etc.
the song is dylan at his cynical best.
